Most serving staff think that "dairy" includes eggs. To make sure they
understand, I usually mention butter, milk, & cheese. I don't expect
yoghurt to be in most things served at a restaurant but you never know!
Nevertheless, I don't think I've ever mentioned it. The deadly part is
often the sauces. The servers never think of what goes into it. However,
I've had a couple of cases where I mentioned my allergy and the staff
immediately informed me to avoid their regular tomato sauce and suggested
an alternative. I like that restaurant....
