I searched on-line for this cookbook and found two
matches.  One is "Spice and Spirit: The Complete
Kosher Cookbook" by Blau, Deitsch and Light.  The
other is "Spice and Spirit of Kosher Passover Cooking"
by Lubavitch Women's Cooking Publication.

There is a significant difference in the pricing ($35
vs. $10.50) so I was just wondering which book you
found this recipe in (I assume it's the second
according to the author).  I can't wait to try it!  I
used to love cannoli.
