Dr. TwoGood has some good points, but if I were to follow your advice strictly,
my child would be dead. Not only is she allergic to dairy, but she also
has a congenital liver disease, has had numerous liver infections, surgeries
and is on daily medication trying to keep her off the transplant list.
When we go to our pediatric GI and his nutritionist on staff, I do not
follow their instructions blindly (nor do they expect me to), but I do
know they are treating all of her problems.

Giving blanket advice that medications are all bad and only natural substances
will keep us healthy is totally irresponsible.
