I have been told that my son, now almost three, has an allergy to dairy. When
I protested and said I had tried keeping him on lactose free milk and it had
no effect, the doctor said that it may not be the lactose he's allergic to,
but some other part of the milk. We put him on a dairy free diet and cannot
believe the difference. Going dairy free is very difficult in the beginning,
especially if you're a milk fiend like I used to be. From what I've read
though, both from this list and elsewhere, drinking milk isn't all it's
cracked up to be. I suggest you keep her off all forms of cow's milk. It seems
she can't tolerate them. And eating dairy free gets easier after a while.

Good luck!
