Helen, we always have turkey for Thanksgiving, and it has never given
my
son any problem. He didn't get to eat at Grandma's one Christmas
because
I caught her basting the turkey with pourable Parkay (has dairy). He
had to
do without turkey! But at home I buy whatever's cheapest, checking
the
label; I wash it, dry it, bake it (without stuffing), and make gravy
from the
pan drippings, without any difficulty. This is the kid who reacted
to ice cream
dripped on his arm! That doesn't mean there isn't any dairy, but if
there is,
it doesn't bother him . . .

YMMV, of course.
