Thanks for all the help regarding my original post about the ice cream
maker.  BTW, I chose that particular model because I saw a show on
FoodTV critiquing these machines.  Their segment/test was done by some
food magazine similar to Consumer Reports-- takes no advertising but
tests kitchen stuff.
  Anyway, this was the pick of their testers.  The testers all said use
your own recipes, evidently most are not too well rehearsed.  Recipe
testing will be the delight of my family!!
