Listmates,
My husband and I have decided that our next step in managing our 2 sons'
allergies (one milk, one nuts and peanuts)is to find a good pediatric
allergist in the area where we now live. I thought I had found a good
"alternative" type provider, but after speaking to him on the phone, I
don't think he has the patience to deal with my wiggly, giggly and
doctor-shy three year old OR my yackety-yak, tell-a-joke, ask eleven
questions five year old. Does anyone know of a good allergy person who
has the "know-how" AND the "know-how-to-be" with young ones in the
Maine, MAssachussetts, New HAmpshire or even Vermont region? We are in
Southern Maine, about an hour and a half from downtown Boston, and are
willing to travel to find the right provider for our boys. We are not
in an emergency situation at the moment, but need some long-term help
(IE testing, information, nutritional guidance).

If anyone has a recommendation, please respond here, or to me directly.
Thanks so much! I do not know what I would do without this list!
