I've always noticed the "No Standing" traffic signs and though I 
understood it was aimed at drivers of vehicles, still, seeing "No 
Standing" in front of a bus stop seemed to me to say one couldn't 
wait there.  Now it seems I was right, standing has, at least 
sometimes, become illegal.  Or not.  "Your conduct can't be illegal 
just because an officer noticed it. "

(I'm reminded of what local advocates call the Santa Cruz sleeping 
ban, no sleeping overnight in cars, on public benches, ... )
