Tom and Diana engage politely. Tom uses the lens of "the special
nature of mental illness" and recommends staff explain to their
patients the coerced 'treatment' they have just received. He defends
paternalism, suggests understanding the patient's experience, and
notes legal liability. Diana questions the structure and suggests at
least we listen to each other.
