Hey Rich,

even if I probably are not capable to produce native English. I'm interested to help with creation of English (and German, of what I'm native one, too) ressources to reach A1 CEFR Breakthrough or beginner level. If that kind of English conversation disturbs here, Interforo's forum section "Discussion in other languages" could be alternative to follow-up that. Like Lars/ Laurentio told Interforo.org holds active maintaining.

Rich, you gave hint to Duolingo(3). In my opinion, regarding system should be capable to make local backup copies. Otherwise folks puts lot of energy inside and if regarding domain will go offline every work will be gone away, too. Does there excists some Duolingo similar system which needs server set-up? Btw, what system runs/serves requests to domain http://www.interlingua.com ?

@all other: Is it fine for you to receive English posting at that discussion list? Could you live with that?

regards, Erik

Betreff: Re: [INTERLNG] Interforo?

Hey Paul,

A very random e-mail - but I'm a fellow English Interlingua learner, and
have noted in the recent conversations floating around that new learners
are finding it pretty tricky to pick Interlingua up. I confess I found the
same.

I saw you're a programmer - by trade I'm a digital product manager / UX
designer and just wondered if you thought it might be an idea to
collaborate with one of the old guard on building a really straightforwards
digital tool for people to learn the language? I'm thinking along the lines
of Duolingo (could even try and get the language onto their platform) and
Memrise. If that's something you'd be interested in, or have time for, I'd
love to talk more.

Best,

Rich
