Sou português e fascina-me utilização de uma Língua Auxiliar, apesar de
ainda não dominar nenhuma. A Interlíngua parece-me, como latino, muito fácil
de compreender. Em relação às diferenças entre o Português falado em
Portugal e o falado no Brasil, devo dizer que não se reduzem ao modo de
pronunciar as palavras: existem bastantes formas gramaticais diferentes,
principalmente em termos de preposições. O modo de construir as frases
também não é mesmo, além de existirem muitas palavras que são próprias de
cada um dos dois países. Vivi no Brasil durante 8 meses e tive alguma
dificuldade em me fazer compreender, apesar de falar pausadamente e de
utilizar vocabulário simples, para não complicar. Quase sempre era obrigado
a repetir as frases uma ou duas vezes, principalmente ao telefone. De
qualquer forma, noto que existe uma grande semelhança na maneira de ser dos
dois povos, o que facilita muito a comunicação. Cumprimentos a todos os

I´m Portuguese and I find amazing the idea of using an auxiliary language,
although I don´t speak any. Interlingua seems to me, as a Latin, very easy
to understand. Speaking of differences between Portuguese from Portugal and
Portuguese from Brazil, I think it´s not just the sound of the words that is
different: there are many grammatical forms that are different, specially
prepositions. The way sentences are built is not the same, either, and there
are many words used in one of the countries and not in the other. I lived in
Brazil for 8 months and it was a bit difficult for me to communicate,
although I spoke slowly and tried to use simple words, in order not to
complicate.  All the time, I must repeat once or twice, when speaking to
Brazilian people, specially when I was on the phone. Anyway, it seems to me
that Portuguese people and Brazilian people are very similar, and that makes
easier to communicate!
