Si. In portugese le nomine del littera "w" es "dáblio" ['dablju], un 
adaptation del pronunciation del anglese "double U" ['dVb@l 'ju:]. Proque 
"dáblio" ha solmente duo syllabas, le personas non senti multe 
incommoditate in dicer "dáblio-dáblio-dáblio" (6 syllabas).

Si le nomine del esserea effectivemente un expression in portugese ("vê 
duplo", "u duplo", "duplo vê", o "duplo u", totes con tres syllabas), le 
triple repetition (9 syllabas) esserea plus incommode de pronunciar.
