This is just another chapter in the attempt to derail the justice system in
The Gambia.If Judges rule in favour of the law, they are dismissed without
explanation, and likewise for any other member of the judicial system in the
employ of the government who actually dares to make any ruling based on our
established laws is sumarily harassed and dismissed.
. What more signs do we need to make it abundantly clear that the laws of
our country are there just for window dressing, and to fool the international
community as far as this present regime is concerned, because in every
instance where the rule of law should apply, they have not only failed to
apply it, but have removed people from their jobs simply because they applied
the law.
Pap Cheyassin Secka has dismissed lawyers and judges alike for this very
reason because they are a deterrent to fulfilling his agenda and the agenda
he has been charged with by his president, and that is to make sure that they
set aside the law so they can fulfill their plans of trying to lock away
members of the opposition party who they know they cannot defeat at the
ballot box, and to kidnap, harass and kill any Gambian who dares tell the
truth about what they are up to.
However, no amount of cover ups, or the poorly constructured, full of holes
stories they continue to offer will make the truth less apparent to Gamboans
and people all over the World that what we have here is a police state that
is becoming worse by the minute.
All Gambians must dedicate their time and effort, every waking hour, to
making sure that we expose this regime and their atorcities via every
possible avenue available to us.I urge all Gambians to please find at least
one way to accomplish this or our country as we know it will cease to be very
soon.
