Ebrima,

I consider The Independent to be friends, but I agree with you entirely. At
the very least, their editorial paints an inaccurate picture of Gambian
reality as it is today. There simply hasn't been any development to speak of
as far as this govt is concern. Why? Because for every step these people
have taken to move The Gambia forward, they have since taken two steps
backwards! Because of their corruption, incompetence, and sheer savagery,
the country is worse off today than when Jawara and his govt were kicked out
six years ago. It's hard to gather that picture from The Independent's
editorial. So, I'm with you.
