After all those millions and millions of dollars spent on gifts of cars and
money and on marabouts from as far away as Mali and Mauritania (e.g. Seringe
Yankhob of Mauritania),bribery ( e.g S.M Dibba) promises, threats,
registeration of non Gambians (people from Cassamance and Guinea Bissau)
etc. he was only able to pull 52.96% - a real narrow escape indeed, should
he really be celebrating? Is this not some good food for thought for him on
whether all said and done Gambians really want him to rule them????? I was
just thinking aloud.
