Saul quote the following from the point:

"According to GRTS Radio, President Yahya Jammeh has criticised the
Independent Electoral Commission IEC for its failure to seek the consent of
the Gambian people on on the demarcation of constituency
boundaries. Addressing a meeting on Wednesday with the council of
elders from Banjul. President Jammeh said that IEC has no mandate to enact
laws. He said that his government will not accept any individual or
institutions who are out to sabotage their development efforts and VOWED TO
DISSOLVE THE IEC AFTER THE GENERAL ELECTIONS. President Jammeh advised the
elders to preach the message of peace, discipline, tolerance and development
in their communities. He assured them his government's government continuous
support to further develop the capital city Banjul".
