Lamin:

Your analysis of the election results back home is highly commendable for you
really do speak from experience. I urge you to keep it up.

On a more general note, I could not help but notice that the Opposition (all
parties) gathered a total of 48% of the total vote while the APRC gained the
other 52%, but when viewed with the understanding that the winners had all
the resources and funds to campaign very effectively, one has to concede that
the Opposition does have a chance of unseating the present regime in future
years. Add in possible election malpractice's into this equation and maybe
the people of The Gambia did not really speak after all.

This makes your analyses all the more relevant. Hopefully, we can build on
some of the mistakes of the past in future elections, both parliamentary and
general.
