Hi Jabou, am glad you are beggining to reason out, in fact this is the
genuine way forward. If we profess to love the Gambia which am sure you do
we must cease to castigate the genuine involvement of others and allow them
to play a role, afterb all PDOIS is never oppose to an alliance in principle
nor is any of the other opposition parties hence why the rush to annmounce
Darbo as the leader when nothing concrete and final had been established. We
mus avoid the politics of blame and try to be as objective as possible
without any prejudice, I for one I do sympathise with PDOIS but should they
err I would sincerely caution them ,but the sad thing is that some people
are just dogmaticn in their opposition to PDOIS, this approach is very wrong
we must all be open minded if we want progress , after all an alliance
requires everyone to meet and come up with proposal and all the modus
operandi would be knwon and agreed upon. If as the case is UDP and PPP have
isuued a joint declaration pronouncing Darbo as the leader of the opposition
the whole thing becomes a farce as is the case now. We must endeavour to
consult each other in other to arrive at a common understanding failure of
which we cannot blame PDOIS. I hope UDP cum PPP will anul their earlier
position and invite all the parties to a discussion so that something
tangible and acceptable to all. I think this woul and should be the way
forward.
SAUL
