Comrades:

I want to commend Brother Sambou for                             the fine jobe he is doing. It is though
a struggle that we have collected less
than $800.00.  Comrades, why are we
having problems in sending our donations?

How can we seek opposition unity or help                         fund the oppostion for the presidential                  election when we cannot even contribute
to pay for an air ticket for Hon. Hamat Bah
or any member of the opposition to attend
our conference?  Are we just talking and
are reluctant to contribute?  We will be making
a mockery of our struggle if we can only talk
but cannot deliver anything for the opposition.

I am appealing to supporters of UDP, NRP and
PDOIS to set personal differences aside and
join in collaborative efforts to make this
fund raising a success.  It will be a shame
if we fail to contribute substantially for a
need to fund the presidential elections slated
for October 2001.

I again want to appeal to those who have not
contributed to send in their donations to
Mr. Joe Silence.  Your silence is making the
dictator smile.
