Mr. Touray,

The turnout in kiang was 86.07% of the entire electorate of that
constituency while the turnout at Badibu was 71.40%. Is it inconceiveable
that some died, some travelled, some sick and the rest exercising their
democratic right not to bother to vote? Why question why the 13.93% of
eligible voters of Kiang did not vote and stay mute on why the 28.60% of the
Central Badibu eleigible voters did not? You will agree with that the number
of eligible voters in Central Badibu who did not vote is more than twice
that of Kiang. Is it because the APRC won in Kiang?

In opinion, now that the electorates of these constituencies have given
their verdict, it should be respected especially when most observers believe
that the polls were free, fair and transparent. What the opposition parties
especially the UDP need to do is to find out what they did right and try to
consolidate it and what they did not wrong and try to devise a strategy to
improve on it. The constant bickering and grumbling by the UDP rather than
hammering in their strategy for the improvement of the lives the Gambian
people when elected will only loose them support.

Bye 4Now, KB Jobe
