Comrades,

Am currently out of the Gambia and latest news coming
from home am told is that the deputy British High
Commissioner to the Gambia has been ordered to leave
the country within 72 hours for attending a meeting
organised by the opposition coalition. Already the UDP
has issued a press release condemning the order.

Am not superise that the government has acted this way
because of late the adminstration has become so
paranoid to the extend that the foriegn ministry had
to summon western deplomat following what it called
rumours of certain embassies sponsoring journalsits to
set up a newspaper purely to discredit the government.
I hope somebody on the G-L can just come up with a
clear news on this issue.

E Sillah.
