Hi!
This might come as a surprise to many but I have for the past two
years or so been indulging in the hobby of music production. I have
composed tons of music ranging from mbalax, reggae, soul, ragga, calypso
to hiphop. It has been a solo project with me playing all the
instruments such as
bass, drums, piano, guitars etc. and doing the lead and backing vocals.
A lot of people who heard the songs have been pressing me to release
them and I have finally yielded.
My project has been given a blessing in the form of getting one of
Gambia's most talented musicians who is also a producer and owns a
studio here in Stockholm, Pa Bahoum, getting involved. Pa Bahoum's
Joevibes Production is going to clean up and put the final touches to
the songs and I can make a promise here that it is going to be something
else.
I am creating a webpage for the album and activities connected to it
and will post the address later. There you can get samples and updates
etc. I will film and edit the music videos and I promise you that they
are going to be something else. You will be able to view clips from the
videos on the website.
Music fans out there like Katim, Pa Sheikh etc., watch out! To
Gambia-l, I say spread the word and get ready for a surprise. Thanks and
have a good evening.

                                                              Buharry.
