For the second time in Atlanta, Gambian women are once again ready to
show their men how appreciative they were for the Mother’s Day event
recently hosted by GFAA (Gambia Families Association) on their behalf.

Encouraged by the unprecedented success, co-ordination and
togetherness of all Gambians and organizations in Atlanta , the
women are determined to reciprocate and return the gesture to the men
of Atlanta on Father’s Day-Sunday , June 21st, 2009 @ BEN HILL
RECREATION CENTER 2405 Fairburn Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331 @ the corner
of Campbellton and Fairburn road.

So, if you live in Atlanta, whether you are young or old , you must
once again come and witness the Gambian women’s determination to show
their appreciation, and above all their commitment and willingness
to participate in this wonderful, friendly gathering not to mention
their evident and incessant efforts to help solidify and raise the
our families.

On behalf of GFAA, we ask that all women living in the Atlanta area
please lend a helping hand to make this a successful event. Although
not a requirement to attend the picnic, we are appealing to everyone
to help with donations of any kind including food, drinks or anything
you can afford.

In anticipation of a much bigger turnout, GFAA would like to thank
everyone for their participation, donations, attendance and gesture
including all organizations especially the visible participation of
AGERA during the recently held Mother’s Day picnic not to mention
their contributions. GFAA therefore equally wish them a very
successful reunion weekend for the upcoming 2009 July Fourth
celebrations as they work on their preparations.

If you would like to donate or participate in any way towards the
Father’s Day event, please call the following numbers:
