I share the sentiments you have raised in this posting on Uncle Sidi's appointment .

However I will like you to revisit this sentence-

How can that be, when he was found wanting just months ago by the Paul Con?

If you are refering to the PAUL COMMISSION, then surely you have erred, because no adverse recommendations was made against Uncle Sidi.

Just a thought, no hard feeling

Well! Well! Well! Not Uncle Sidi again! Folks, this is a no brainer, for we
all knew deep down that koto Morro was going to go Santa Clause on us, at
least I'm not surprised. Less than a year ago he was accused of stealing by
the Paul Con, now he is assigned to manage the "Cheb bu jenn" in Dakar. I
will sure pay him a visit when next I visit Senegal, to just hear from the
eccentric, what makes him tic. I know you jealous type will be hating the
uncle, but please go easy on him with your love.

"Mr Sanneh’s appointment has been greeted with high public acclaim given his
past performance and reputation in the Gambian public service and beyond."

How can that be, when he was found wanting just months ago by the Paul Con?
This sounds like the whole of Banjul was rooting and lobbying for him. Ams,
I know your are mad as hell and are feeling left out, but please take heart.
You will be accepted back before Ray. Bilaye Walaye Talaye!

And so, the musical chairs game for the handkerchief heads continues. Looks
like we need more chairs for the recidivism of these geezers is out pacing
the Larry, Moe, and Curly show. I had warned you of some of these uncles
and aunties, but what do I know? Let's please toast on behalf of our very
very dear Uncle Koto Morro Sidi Sanneh, shall we? Boy that was a mouthful!
"Chei Sanneh Balamang"! "Juddeau chi terranga aak yah bu raye"! I'm glad
I'm not a nephew, otherwise I'd ordered a stiff one if I tilted the bottle.

Chi Jaama

Joe
