Saul, I hate to belabor this point but the Republican party cannot hold a leaf to the precedents sent by great Democratic reps.Guys like Kennedy's, Jackson, Bob kerry and some of the more humanitarian senators of yesteryear.  To me, the Democrats have shown more compassion towards the poor and disadvantaged of the World.  This strikes a chord with me and thus my preferenc for the Democrats over the GOP.
I understand that the democrats also support the American ideals of big business and government, unlike Ralph Nader.

Anyway, I am down with the concept of the Green party. :)
