Karamba,

You have shown great courage and integrity by readily accepting what seems
to be the verdict of the Gambian people. I join you in wishing our country
all the best and hope that the spirit of brotherlyness that has served us so
well in the past, will continue to guide our actions.

L-ers should reflect on the results and come to terms with the reality on
the ground. By all indications, the elections were conducted very well. To
those whose prefered candidates did not win, you may feel disappointed but
that is democracy. The people who started queuing at the polls as early as
06.30 A.M and others who queued beyond the 4.00 PM close have made their
choice and all we should do is go along with that choice. May God continue
to guide and bless our little Gambia.

Have a good day, Gassa.
