Sister, such shallow, narrow, redundant and frantic misstatements lobbed at
the Movement and G-L, as a fringed group that hates Gambia and everything
that has to do with Yahya, is immature at its lowest common denominator and
paranoic-denial at its highest. As a sure-looser hound-dog for the regime,
aren't you taking the easy way out by turning to extreme misguided/directecd
chauvinism and defender of Yahya and his reactionary lot, instead of 20-20
vision of/for Gambia and what its collective sons and daughters bring to the
debate?  First of all, the number of active Movement member-graduates [in the
queen's medium of instruction, English] is less than 20, and in Arabic
schooling, more than 70. Since its inception, this Movement decided against
the formation of elected positions of President, Chairman, Secretary, etc.,
instead, advocates for sincere and undaunting volunteerism, which
surprisingly, guarantees our strength and devotion to restoration of
democracy in the Gambia, nothing more, nothing less. Not until recently, did
the necessity came up that we have to register as a Not for Profit Entity in
the USA and an NGO in Gambia. Our Sister/Brother Movement in the U.K. were
helpful in providing us with their constitution and bylaws as a guide, so as
not to duplicate our mission[s].  Hence the reason why, we will rally behind
any realistic/progressive group[s] or individual[s], whose scope of Gambia's
transformation and survival, is long term and not, opportunistic, egocentric
or demagogic or demigodic at its worst. Like the other ilk's of Yahya's hound
dogs maurading/masquerading the GL as lumpent opportunist's, you're no better
than their 'wind bags. Their and your fears and frustrations at their/your
helplessness, are mounting to a point of political paranoia which can
demonize people of your caliber, to turn to the 'law of survival' in the
narrowest sense - DECREES, INDEMNITY ACTS, STATE OF EMERGENCIES, ETC. The
frenetic scene around you guys, is so bewildering as to induce one, to either
drop out into a private world, the nonexistence past [blame Jawara for
everything], therefore creating a maladjustment syndrome social schizophrenia
amongst your family, friends and coworkers. Insecure in the fast-changing
world, thanks to the Internet [Gambia-L especially], you guys cling to
illusory fixed-points which you have envisage as real, just to appease the
dictator, in order to secure or keep your JOB....nothhing more than 'HOUSE
NEGROES.'  Observing the desperate actions or inaction of these
'IFANGBONDI'S' frequently sidetracking us on the real issues, they use
revealing adjectives such as troublemakers; asylum seeker's; do you own a
home in the Gambia?...Yahya has 27 within a seven-year period; have you seen
our..Yahya will say MY AIRPORT, MY HOSPITAL, MY TELEVISION, MY 'IDAPLANE'
oops airplane, MY BUNKER at Kanilai, MY PAJERO'S, etc..etc. I understand you
and others have a critical role to play in the essential prelude of
reformation in the acceptance that the ways of the past with its promises for
the future no longer works, therefore, we on the Gambia-l [YOUR WORST
NIGHTMARES] must move on ahead. As Ebrima Ceesay eloquently stated, WHERE WE
MOVE TO, MAY NOT BE DEFINITE OR CERTAIN, BUT MOVE TO ACTION, WE MUST. EVEN
THOUGH WE, GAMBIANS RESIDING ABROAD, ARE PART OF THE YAHYA'S PROBLEMS, THE
DETERMINING FORCES OF CHANGE AND VICTORY, EVENTUALLY LIES WITH OUR COLLECTIVE
AND CONCERTED ACTIONS WITH OPPOSITION PARTIES, STUDENTS, VICTIMIZED PRIVATE
BUSINESSMEN/WOMEN, CONCERNED CIVIL SERVANTS AND THE SICK AND TIRED OF YAHYA
JAMMEH/APRC/AFPRC GAMBIAN POPULACE AT LARGE.
