Hi folks,

This is culled from the GRTS.

The Gambian head of state has effected a cabinet reshuffle involving
four secretaries of state. The former secretary of state
for presidential affairs and national assembly - rt. Captain Edward
Singhateh is now the secretary of state for works, communications and
information, while the previous holder of that portfolio M. Sarjo Jallow,
moves over as secretary of state for youth and sports. Rt. Captain Yankuba
Touray, previous secretary of state for youth and sports, now becomes the
secretary of state for tourism and culture while Susan Waffa Ogoo, former
holder of the post, is now the secretary of state for fisheries and natural
resources. The changes are with effect from august 1st. His Excellency the
president, acting under the provisions of section 72(1) of the Gambian
constitution, has also re-assigned responsibility for presidential affairs
and national
assembly matters to the department of state for works, communications and
information.

BR,
Alieu
