Looking at my life
I see that only Love
has been my soul's companion.
From deep inside
my soul cries out:
Do not wait, surrender
for the sake of Love.

With friends you grow wings.
Alone
you are a single feather in disgrace.
With them you master the wind,
but alone,
you're blown in all directions.



The heart's house that remains unlit
by the Divine Sun's majestic rays
Is narrow and dark like an orphan's cell,
far from the feast of the Living King.

Such a heart lacks the Sun's radiance:

Its space does not expand;
Its doors do not open;
There is no room to breathe.

A constricted grave is more comforting than this:
Arise from the tomb of your heart.
