Folks our silence in the campaign for the release of Lawyer Mariam Denton is not helping the struggle against Dehumanization of people by the butcher of Kanillai. She was accused of a coup that never happened because of her stand to fight against human rights violation inflicted on our people since the unfortunate coup of July 1994. Mariam Denton is a hero in our country in the struggle for the restoration of democracy. Any silence for her release is a defeat for the fight against dictatorial rule of Yahya Jammeh.
