Momodou:
This kind of behavior is what is wrong with the political system in The
Gambia. We are unwilling to unify against the enemy, but constantly
criticize each other for no apparent reason.

Mr. Darboe, Mr. H. Sallah and numerous opposition figures should not be
looked at as the cause of Gambia's problems. We know who the enemy is. It
is a shame that we are conceived with our own selfish egos at the expense of
Gambians who are constantly intimidated, jailed and denied the basic
principle of democracy. Our intellectual showmanship is a deterent to our
political survival. Let us not encourage the dictator to have a field day.

Sincerely,

Muhammad Lamine Jassey-Conteh
