GL,

The verdict of the people must be upheld and the majority of Gambians have
voted to give the President and his party a second chance.
In the light of that ,I will like to take the opportunity of congratulating
the President and the APRC for their victory in the election ,hoping that
the second time around will be characterize by the rule of law ,according to
our constitution ,with the will of the Gambian people at heart.

For the opposition ,particularly the UDP Alliance , you have fought a great
battle in trying to ensure the welfare of the Gambian people.
Word from home has it that Darboe has already called the President
congratulating him and conceding defeat....That's the spirit of the game.

For GL ,your patriotism is immeasurable. You have gone to great length
in portraying your patriotism and love for your country and people..I salute
you for that and urge you to continue your vigilance and patriotism for the
sake of our nation hoping that next time around ,we
will not be disenfranchise by not providing for those in the diaspora
the right to exercise our god given right to vote.
