Well, Tony when are you going to deliver on your threats? When? Gambians
are equally eager to end your misery, so stop delaying the progress on your
head and start your end now.

"Reiterating his commitment to maintain the much cherished peace and
stability in the country, President Jammeh again repeated his earlier
assertions that those who want to plunge The Gambia into crisis will not
witness the 2006 election."

As long as you also know that you will be put "SIX FEET DEEP", the same day
you touch any of the NADD leaders, then there is no misunderstanding, so
make our day.

Now, regarding the rest of your garbage with Senegal, you must be kidding,
right? However, I blame the hypocrites that gave you audience and left mute
without telling you that you are a liar and a fabricator. Those "religious
leaders" are some of the very reasons why you could drag Gambia to such
depths. They know dog gone well that the JACKASS in the boarder conflict is
none other than your very self, but for reasons only know to them, they sat
there and nod in agreement with you, and they call themselves religious
people. I wonder what they will do if they considered themselves secular.
How can you assault the intelligence of Gambians with such lies? All those
hypocrites that surrounded you know your story about NADD plotting against
you in NY is a lie. They also know that you lied about averting a civil war
with Senegal. So, who are you fooling but yourself? You certainly did not
fool Wade for you swallowed your garbage and then some. NADD and Gambians
are waiting for you to trump up a scheme and accuse them of trying to hatch
a coup against you. You will loose your life the day you attempt that.
The US, UK, and other embassies have been warned in advance so, go ahead
with any plans you may have and NADD will meet you more than half way.

You are beginning to realize that Gambians are ready for you before or after
2006, so help us God. Threats or violence of any sort will not help you out
of your misery and we are not worried what you intend to do, for we know
that we are going to meet you more than half way. If you intend to use the
military, I got news for you, watch your back, for we have beat you to that
game and please do not be surprised, for some of the people you intend to
rely on will be the very ones that will knock you out, cold. Gambia has
reached a point of no return and this revolution "will not be televised" if
you want it that way.

So, the world is put on notice that what ever erupts in the Gambia rests
squarely on your head, but we are not going to allow you to kill anyone
again without a price on your head and we are not going to whisper about.
We will use the same medium that you used to initiate your challenge. If
you prepare to kill any among NADD, be prepared to die yourself, just that
simple. NADD is non-violent, but will use any means necessary to defend
themselves. So, it's on.

OPPOSITION behind border impasse
Written by Pa Malick Faye
Monday, 07 November 2005
President Yahya Jammeh has accused opposition of fueling the border impasse
between The Gambia and Senegal as a way of devising their political ends.
Speaking at a meeting with religious leaders on Koriteh day at State House,
President Jammeh said the border crisis as masterminded by the opposition
was aimed at putting the countries at loggerhead. He added that as part of
their desire to cause trouble between the two neighbouring countries,
opposition figures and their supporters in the civil service have sent
sinister information about The Gambia to the Senegalese authorities and that
The Gambia would have been at war with Senegal if he had not handled the
issue with maturity.

“The opposition had a meeting in New York, USA where they resolved to do all
means to have The Gambia and Senegal at war. This will enable Gambians to
turn their back against the APRC and vote for them as many electorate will
then be persuaded that I am a man of violence. They all agreed in New York
that they cannot unseat me in elections and coups as they have tried, so
they choose to try to instigate instability between The Gambia and Senegal,
which can lead to war between the two countries. If I had not taken the
border impasse with care and maturity, today, The Gambia and Senegal would
be killing each other,” President Jammeh said.

The Gambian leader added: “The opposition had told the Senegalese
authorities that most of my security guards and half of the personnel of the
Gambia National Army are MFDC fighters who are being used to kill Senegalese
in The Gambia. They went to the extent of telling the Senegalese that the
peacekeepers I sent to Darfur, Sudan were MFDC fighters and that I want to
help Casamance. This shows how far this people [opposition] can lie all
because they want to rule this country.”

President Jammeh said during his meeting with Abdoulaye Wade, a written
message from the opposition with sinister information from the Internet was
delivered to Wade. This, he said, was all geared towards bringing
misunderstanding between them to make the meeting a failure.
“The meeting was not an easy one as a lot of untrue and negative
informations were given to the Senegalese authorities. But, I thank God that
I got the names of those individuals and they will be paid accordingly for
their deeds. The misinformation has reached a climax that Senegalese
soldiers were deployed at the Siliti border because they were told that I
was helping the rebels. They even said I once stayed together with one of
the rebel leaders in Kanilai and State House, respectively and that I later
plotted for his death because of the differences we later had. The truth is
that, the border impasse was not caused by the ferry issue alone but a lot
many other bunch of [opposition] lies,” he said.

Reiterating his commitment to maintain the much cherished peace and
stability in the country, President Jammeh again repeated his earlier
assertions that those who want to plunge The Gambia into crisis will not
witness the 2006 election. He noted that he is not against genuine
opposition, but elements that wants to put the country into chaos for
political ends.

Schism
Meanwhile, President Jammeh has condemned the refusal of some Muslims to
heed to the call of the Supreme Islamic Council (SIC) to observe the Koriteh
prayers on Thursday. He suggested to the council to draw a code of conduct
for Imams throughout the country.
He added that there would be no differences in the country if Imams in the
country heed to SIC and that any Imam who remains defiant will be removed to
foster unity and understanding among the Muslim populace. He wondered why
there exist differences among Muslims in The Gambia on such occasions when
densely populated Muslim states like Indonesia are united despite the
distances between its regions.

Homosexualism
Speaking on homosexualism, President Jammeh said no immoral behaviour as
such will be condoned in The Gambia as it is alien to culture.

“I have animals but I have never seen them doing such things so why human
beings. Such kind of things in the name of freedom will not be allowed in
The Gambia,” he said.
