BISMILLAH HIR RAHMAN NIR RAHEEM
AS SALAAMU ALAIKUM,,

    Brothers and Sisters,

Al hamdulillah, a Muslim -owned and run Certified Organic farm in upstate
New York is supporting the development of co-ops and farmers markets, here
in New York City, Insha Allah. A cooperative involves reduced costs of food
in exchange for donating several hours of work at the co-op, monthly, to do
the work of receiving, packing and other handling of the food to prepare it
for distribution: the farmers market would be a retail operation run by the
farmer, himself, Insha Allah. The farm, owned and run by Brother Na'im Abdun
Nafi and his wife, Kamila, has been operating for years and produces organic
vegetables, fruits, herbs, free-range, chemical-free chickens and eggs:
Brother Na'im also works with a local organic farm supplying certified
organic, chemical free, beef, lamb, sheep, yogurt and milk (also, all
products are free of all and any genetically-engineered products and
 processes).

If you are interested in joining the co-op (we are planning to establish a
branch in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx), please email me and
see the MuslimFood discussion group on Yahoo.com, Insha Allah!

 AS Salaamu Alaikum,
 Sister Rasheeda Abdul Hakeem >>
