Saiks,
Some of these are my exact thoughts. It is so unfortunate that we cannot
discuss national issues without some sensitive people hanging out themselves.
More people dies in the Jawara regime than the Jammeh regime. The entrance of
the Senegalese soldiers into the Gambia to restore Jawara tells one that this
guy will do anything to hang on to power. He master minded the formation of
the UDP and single handily picked Darboe to lead.
When I talked of this here, it is always a big noise from some loud people,
but that will not deter me. I have a lot of things against the Jawara regime
and will have it against any political party they have a hand in. This is the
same guy who sent Senegalese soldiers with some of his loyal policemen to
Bissau on a helicopter to kidnap some of our parents. Therefore, if anyone
think that we will just forget that, I think they need to wake up to the
reality. I bet if any of them were arrested in class at form 3 stage and
taken to CID because of their parents political believes, they would not have
reacted thus.
We have a lot of people in here who tend to be joining the opposition because
they were personally affected when the coup took place and that is the reason
why they cannot stand to see that the reality is finally coming. It is
certain that in politics, your friends enemy might be your friend. Those who
have been yearning for a Darboe victory because they wanted to come back as
Lamin Ceesay alleged to claim what they lost when the coup took place.
To those people, I say cool down and know that the Gambian people will not
let that happen again.

Ousman Jallow Bojang.
