"Alieu"  here on the one hand, has vested interest in  fanning the flames of 
discord and that is his mission, and Conteh's  allegations on the other hand 
is part of the smear campaign that is a  manifestation of the belief of some 
people that making such statements and  attempting to tarnish the reputation of 
NADD and their supporters will benefit  them. It is an act of desperation is 
it's lowest form and is the signature  trademark of those who think that the 
way to power in the Gambia is through the  old game of divisive and tribal 
politics, the old game as practiced by the old  PPP guard who used it for years to 
fool Gambians. 
It is erroneously believed to be an effective attempt to ward off  being 
accused of the tribal politics they play by beating people to the  punch line with 
unfounded accusations of hatred for Mandinkas.

As you  have rightly pointed out already, all Conteh has to do is to provide 
the  evidence that NADD supporters have said that they hate Mandinkas. That 
one left  me speechless and is indeed a dangerous trend and anyone who thinks 
that  instigating such sentiments will benefit them is providing further 
evidence of  their lack of vision.
Gambia deserves better and inshallah, our people will become wise to the  
antics of the devious soon enough.
