I see where yours is strong in the 'Bandeh' usage especially the mention of your peers -the Bandehs.
I agree with my learned scholar and brother Mo Baldeh on his assertions. I am not however an expert in it as you can see.
Ditto!! See, I cannot use the word 'Bandeh' because then my matrilineal uncles -The Baldehs, won't give me a 'debboh', jokingly called "bingel kaw". It translates directly as Uncle's child, in this case a debboh. So I guess I am excused. Right? Some family members I shared this conversation with said it is Baldeh.

You are right the 'B' is also used some times with slanted fatha, kasra, dammu or the sukuun.
The Somalis will say "Beoble" for "people"; 'bay' for 'pay', et cetera. This is a known fact.
