Congrsatulations Sheikh. Sounds like a very good organization that is out to
encourage excellence in the industry, and foster the spirit of
entrepreneurship. As a fellow entrepreneur, my hat's off to you guys. Keep up

<< The Association of Small Scale Enterprises in Tourism will be holding
 its first sustainable tourism award scheme at the Bakadaji Hotel on
 Saturday 13th January 2001 at 8.30 pm. The award ceremony was supposed
 to be held  on 25th November,2000 but was postponed due to the ramadan.
 The awards will recognize excellence in sustainable tourism development
 in a number of areas including Economic Impact award, Local suppliers
 award, Socio-Cultural awareness award, Authentic cultural award ,
 Environment Conservation award, Eco-tourism enterprise award,  Tourism
 Training award,  Customer service award, Eco-tourism employee award,
 Best new initiative award, Individual enterprise award ,and Tourist
 guide award.
 These 12 categories for award aims to recognize employees as well as
 entrepreneurs for their contribution towards sustainable development.
 Sustainable tourism applies to an approach to tourism that takes account
 of environmental and social considerations including wider economic
 impact on local community, an area which ASSET is keen to bring to wider
 public attention. Looking forward to seeing you there.
