                      BY TIMBUKTU

It is pleasing to inform Gambians and friends of The Gambia that
diasporans will be accessing one of the best News Magazines that publish
stories on Africa in the US.

The FRONTPAGEAFRICA.COM can be visited at (www.frontpageafrica.com). This
paper has already agreed on professional terms to be publishing stories by
Pa Nderry M'Bai and Timbuktu. Both wirters are currently with the
Incumbent ALLGAMBIAN.COM.The frontpageafrica paper is being managed by a
former Liberian refugee in The Gambia,Mr Rodney Sieh.Sieh was one time
persecuted in The Gambia regardless of his refugee status.

After escaping the evil claws of a vicious cylce in Monrovia Sieh saught
refuge in Banjul. Alas! he was taken aback by the savagery he saw under
the Jammeh regime. As Bob Marley once said..." who the cap fits let him
wear it". Who else does the cap fit more than Rodney a Journalist who
traversed the thick forests of West Africa where he chose to mingle with
pythons and tseste flies in search of freedom? Sieh after reaching the
shores of Banjul barely put his bags then started being harassed by the
notorious secret service agents of another rogue state.

Indeed Journalism is a noble profession that cries for the voiceless and
those who have been trampled upon by the dragon called DOMINATION. Sieh
had to flee to the USA where he never abandoned his duties. Mixing the
effective services of ALLGAMBIAN.NET and FRONTPAGEAFRICA.COM is indeed a
threat to Jammeh and his copper-coated trumpet called the daily observer.

Africa is ready to eject all dictators and dictatorial tendencies from
within therefore,we as sons and daughers of this continent here in the
diaspora have seen the need to work together. South African countries like
Namibia,Botswana,Zimbabwe (at the time) etc worked together during
appartheid. The same advice we received from experts some of whom are
citizens of the land of the brave and the free. That is,we as ECOWAS
citizens can remove dictators like Jammeh from power by using the power of
Information.

This is how Yugoslavia sent a dictator to Hague. This is how Georgia sent
an unwanted relaxed president out of the State House. This is the way Wade
won his elections. This is the way Nino Viera came back to power. This is
the way Alassan Ouatara has earned respect Internationally. That is why we
are in it. Patriotism is no cake or candy for one mouth.

We therefore say BRAVO to firm Journalists like Pa Nderry,Yero
Jallow(Independent editor),Yero Jallow(Dalton),Buba Ceesay(Manager of
Allgambian.net),George Sarr(proprietor of THE MIGHTY
GAMBIAPOST.NET),Intellectuals like Binneh S Minteh and every son and
daughter who uses the might of a pen and words to send these dictators
away. Walter Rodney helped erase colonialism.Peter Abrahams helped erase
appartheid.Chinua Achebe helped eject dictators like Abacha.
Novels, articles and websites are here to stay because they are the tools
that repair the engine of democracy.
