Hello, all, maybe the clousre of Sud FM in both Senegal and The Gambia
are just coincidences, but seeing as how natioanl security was used as
an excuse for both, and given that Presidents Wade and Jammeh have
just been trying to resolve a border dispute, the two closures just
seemed related to me.

But then again, given the stories going around that Jammeh is
tacitly supporting the Casamance Rebels, the whole thing just made me
wonder. So maybe they are not related. Or, maybe jammeh is trying to
get back on the Senegalese government's good side so he decided to
close the Sud FM station in The Gambia. Hmmm... Just a thought, and
it doesn't mean anything, but just a thought nonetheless. However, if
the closures are related, then it would seem silly that Jammeh would
decide to close the station after the Sud FM counterparts in Senegal
have since been allowed to reopen. So hmmm. Seems that Jammeh knows
best why the station was closed.

Sorry for the discombobulation of my post. Am writing as I'm thinking.

Ginny
