Joe,

I will donate $60 toward Waa's family, bail etc. In the future, instead of me donating to the fund and having the funds tied up for various reasons, I am wondering if I can give my monies to you or anyone else since it appears a separate fund is needed for emergencies.

Ams, thanks for this forward. It has been almost two weeks since Juwara has
been in custody and to date, what have we (all who been calling the
opposition to protest the conditions) done for his bail or helping his
family? We are still in the discussion mode, I see. Anyway, each with
their conscience.

Thanks to Chris Sukuna and Dr. Abdoulaye Saine for sending in their money
($50m and $25, respectively) for either the legal defense of Waa or
providing needed help to his dependants. I am contributing $100 to this
effort. I am appealing to folks that are in support for the release of Waa
and helping his dependants to contribute to this fund raising venture.
Since none has volunteered to collect the funds I will, so please send your
contributions to Joe Sambou, 8046 S. Kimbark Ave., Chicago, IL 60619. Folks
we cannot delay. Thanks for your cooperation.
