All,
My emotions keep getting in the way of reading through these laudable
tributes to Halifa. I cried. If there is a man, with the requisite import to
develop the structure, scope and objective to which the instruments of
governance can serve as a formidable national tool, Halifa is the choice. He can
elicit patriotism, engender a bias consciousness for selflessness, and a
relentless fervor for the common good.

Mr Darbo and Aunty Jabou, I endorse with my whole heart the choice of
Halifa, as the choice in our quest to build a peaceful and prosperous nation.
For the last three decades, most of us have witnessed and can attest to what
this man stands for. Regards.

         Rene
