Ebou Jallow:

It is always good to hear or read your perspective on these things since you
were an insider yourself. Keep the postings coming. By the way, I believe
the last time we saw each other was in the Gambia: at the AFRA FM, if my
memory serves me well. And, interestingly, Edward Singhateh's (peculiar)
behaviour was part of the conversation. Again, if my memory serves me right,
you were then overseeing the Foreign Ministry at a time when Baboucarr
Blaise Jagne was away somewhere.

And of course, a week later or so, then came the bomshell: Captain Ebou
Jallow had resigned!!!! I still have the audio tapes of your interview with
the great Elizabeth Ohene of the BBC African Service. Anyway, I take it that
you are doing okay and that your family is well. Ebou, keep your
contributions coming because some of us are learning a lot from them. In
fact, one of my areas of research presently centres on how to build/enhance
healthy Civil-Military relations in Africa. So your input is most welcomed,
but do send me the bill afterwards.

Regards!

Coach!
