This step is a welcome move in exploring the peaceful  electoral alternative
to change.Despite the bestial character of the regime since 1994 our people
still refused to be drawn in returning the same dose of violence to ensure
peace.We must respect this position and accelarate the peaceful  process of
develping the coordination of all democratic forces to make a peaceful
electoral victory against the gambia regime possible in 2001.

I hope that along with this petition we will develop the coordinating
institution..we need to efficently study and define the AIMS, TARGET
GROUPS,METHODS AND MEANS to carry the tasks of mass information and
mobilisation to ensure mass participation in all gambiam communities in all
the stages of the process.

It is immediately necessary to consider the setting up of an interim group
of volunters with a  record of consistant democratic concern to invite and
study the brilliant suggestions of coordination that have been surfacing in
the different gambia media channels an recommend a coordinated way forword.

To reduce the possible heavy load of work and delayance of targeted reports
delivery dates, we can consider specialised areas of priorities necessary
for the work ahead and assign it to committees or individuals.the reserve of
intellectual capacity within the concerned gambians overseas is enough to
define and provide the answeres required inthe word ahead.

We have  all rhe resources necessary to challenge and defeat the parasitic
and unproductive but brutal and deceptive regime of beasts .now we are
presented with a very good idea of a PEACEFUL UNITED ELECTORAL ACTION 2001
for all the democratic oriented gambians as  the victory formular against
the regime,we must not only sign the petition but must carry the work
required to make it possible.

It is only empowerment of the people through information and participation
that we will guarantee not only an electoral defeat for the regime but also
a no return to the undemoratic past which gave rise to the facist present,
