Mr. Camara,

The Senegambian borders are the most porous on this planet...and it doesn't take more than an hours drive from the nearest border to the heart of the capital, Banjul. The Senegalese armed forces have been cultivating a lot of goodwill with their colleagues in the Gambia until very recently. It is definitely not uncommon to see uniformed Senegalese soldiers crossing between the borders through the Gambia. What is definitely out of place is the ostensive display of weapons by the Senegalese soldiers during some political dispute between the two countries. This is provocative, illegal and a calculated indifference to the sovereignty of the Gambia. Yaya Jammeh needs to take this very very seriously, and make sure that it never happens again.
