 Fatou,

The only one I will venture a pure guess is #4. and only based on the fact that I used to hear Kristikunda mentioned a lot by my parents and other adults around me in my very early days ( before age 10) in my birth place of Janjangbureh. Is it somewhere on the Island of Jangjangbureh?

Subject: Quiz on history of education in The Gambia

  Chers Internautes,

Below are several questions requiring answers from the you:

1 - Which Christian mission arrived in The Gambia in 1824 and which
 governor invited them?
2 - Which school existing today is the merger of two mission schools?
3 - In which part of The Gambia was Kristikunda boy's primary school,
 built in 1941, situated?
4 - Which Christian mission changed its name from Wesleyan?
5 - Where in the provinces was the first primary school established? Which year?

Five questions to start with and more to come. The intention is to
share some information and particularly help provide a historical
background to some of our alma mata.

 Bonne chance!

 Fatoumata
