Folks i cannot understand the way Yahya Jammeh talks to the Gambians when he
tells them that anybody or region that does not vote for him will not
benefit from any developments from him. Is this man telling us that he owns
our country now and forever. This is stupid, and annoying to hear. I feel
insulted anytime i read such crazy statements on papers. Yahya Jammeh thinks
that he is talking to kids who are as naive as he is. I think it is only
Yahya Jammeh as a president who would say this, and say it only in the
Gambia. If Gambians are pollitically well aware of their rights, this man
should not have even reached this stage in our country's politics. Our
National Assembly Members would have been the very first people to condemn
and stop him from saying such irrational statements and later remove him by
moving a vote of no confidence against him. But due to the very bias and
selfish nature of the majority of these members also as APRC members, they
will never take such a move. Are our politicians not telling the Gambian
people that Yahya has no power or right in the constitution to isolate or
deny any person or region of any development from the government, support or
not support him. They should not allow Gambian people to be intimidated into
thinking that Yahya Jammeh being the president has the constitutional power
to do that.It is their (Tax Payers')money that is used to develope the
country, and not Yahya Jammeh's money. It is the tax payers who are paying
him and his family, he just deliberately ignores it but that must be pointed
out to him. People of Yahya's calibre have no place in any civilized
society. I cannot just imagine this man saying this to Gambians and they
feel frightened and believe him when as electorates they have the
soverignty, they are the king and can decide on their own. Nobody can
dictate to them. Their votes and their voice are more powerful than Yahya
Jammeh and his army with their guns.

Yahya Jammeh robs Gambians of their wealth and is now turning around dishing
out money to them as if it is not the same money that he keeps stealing from
the tax payers. Is he doing a favour for the Gambians by developing every
region of the country if he can surely do that as expected of any genuine
leader. Any person with this type of thinking is not the list fit to rule
even a househould much more a country. I think Gambians are just unfortunate
to have a president of his type. But no rational person behaves or talks
this way, especially when you are entrusted with the leadership of a nation.
May God who has the POWER, free our country, the Gambia from this
unfortunate moment and bless us with a leader with good leadership qualities
and sound mind to rule our country.
