Your posting suggests an alternative in getting rid of dictator yahya
jahanama.  The reality of the issue is that the opposition needs to unite
before any form of civil disobedience can take effect.

I concur with you that the dictator will rig the elections and embark on a
divide and rule tactic.  Dictator yahya jahanama is not a savior to The
Gambian people because of Sir Dawda's longevity in power.  The entire Jawara
government failed in allowing the then US ambassador to persuade Sir Dawda to
leave the State House.  I do not understand why our elected president could
listen to a foreign diplomat, especially in allowing the moron to takeover.

The entire opposition sector during Sir Dawda's tenure needs to be blamed for
their lack of vision in uniting.  I remember vividly when the so called
intellectuals joined the opposition, and only to cross-carpet to the PPP for
their own selfish gains.  The circle of self promotion and lack of vision for
a cohesive opposition primarily denied us any unification strategy.

At this critical time in our country, we must focus on advocating for unity.
We must remember that dictator yahya jahanama will seize on our weakness and
penetrate through us.  As members of the opposition, it is incumbent on us to
face reality and be optimistic in joining together as a family tree.  Our
struggle for a democratic Gambia should not be infiltrated by the dictator's
fitna, masimo and jakading attitudes.  His rhetoric of burying Gambians six
feet deep should solidify the opposition's call for unity.  The dictator has
gone extreme and will do anything to stay in power.  A nyankatang eating
moron, who never dreamed of eating benakin has suddenly found himself
consumed with power and prestige.

The lack of electricity in the suburbs and NAWEC's 24 hour service to
Kaninlai is a grave mistake.  What right does kaninlai have at the expense of
the Gambian society?  Why is a bag of rice so cheap in Kaninlai?  Is Kaninlai
a country within The Gambia?  Is the dictator just doing things that he
thinks the Gambian people will not care?  These are jakading tactics that the
opposition must seize on.  We cannot allow the moron and jakading of kaninlai
to divide.
