Ms. Joh, both you, Saiks and Jassey-Conteh are easy to ignore because now
all you are emitting is hot air and nothing else. Apart from throwing out
silly words as nepotistic rule, corrupt government, brutal regime, and
whining endlessly about people trying to straighten you out, you are saying
absolutely nothing. Nobody is trying to pull you down. You are free to spend
the whole day in front of your keyboard and send rubbish to G_L. The only
thing that can stop you is what Abdou Toure said: the List Managers.
However, be rest assured that if you send garbage here, we will respond to
it.

Next time you want to preach about people refraining from personal attacks,
direct your sermons to Jassey-Conteh who was engaged in character
assassination with that lady Jassey-Conteh thinks was involved in some
dubious dealings in Miami. This is the type of hypocrisy I cannot stomach.
You have people spewing all sorts of garbage and when you engage them, they
start ducking for cover and saying that they do not want to stoop low to
your level or that you are dictatorial. For Heaven’s sake, just argue your
points the way you know how and give people a break.

Who is defending the indefensible here? I have always stood by my arguments.
It is you that has abandoned your stance or made inflammatory statements on
G_L that you could NOT back up. Tell me one thing that I said that I did NOT
back up. You on the other hand spread LIES here about PPP that you did NOT
back up. We are NOT trying to alarm anyone. What we said is the absolute
truth. It might be a bit difficult for you to comprehend, so I will break it
down for you. If the Alliance is fighting against APRC and you come from
nowhere and say that the Alliance is a PPP front and then argue successfully
that PPP is NOT good for the country, who benefits from your successful
argument? Certainly, the Alliance will lose votes if you succeed in your
argument. At best, the Opposition vote will be split and Yaya can ‘win’ by
default. So, you just want people that want to see the back of Yaya to just
keep quiet and let you spread LIES about the Alliance?

First of all we have to debunk the myth that PPP dominates the Alliance.
Darboe is the leader of the Alliance and he belongs to UDP. Secondly, we
have to protect other members of the Alliance, including PPP by showing that
it is NOT true that PPP is worse than AFPRC/APRC. That is all that is going
on here. I hope you get it this time.

I am confident that the Alliance can win as it is presently constituted.
Why? Apart from the numbers that graced the recent rallies, the Alliance is
the only body so far that is giving the Gambian people a plan for the
FUTURE. We are NOT obsessed with an old man that is no longer in power. We
want a Gambia that is BETTER than both the PPP and the AFPRC/APRC days. That
is why we chose Darboe as the leader. We are looking forward. Instead of me,
you are the alarmist. You are the one lying to the people that the Alliance
is going to restore PPP. That is absolutely false. The Alliance has no plans
whatsoever of restoring the PPP vices you are trying to ascribe to PPP. What
proof do you have that an Alliance government led by Ousainou Darboe is
going to restore corruption, nepotism and vindictiveness to the country?
What proof does Jassey-Conteh have that a Party where Shyngle Nyassi belongs
is going to single out Jolas and victimize them? These are the alarmist and
false rhetoric coming from your end.

I will take this opportunity to inform Buhary that I know he means well. The
maturity and restraint he is showing is why I always believed that he is an
asset to the Opposition. My response to the irresponsible statements made by
characters like Ms. Joh, Saiks Samateh and Jassey-Conteh is NOT a sign of
disrespect to the calls made by Buhary. I hope you (Buhary) understand that
all I am doing is DEFENDING. I am NOT attacking the agenda or the leaders of
any of the Opposition Parties that decided NOT to join the Alliance. As I
keep saying, I wished the other Parties took cue from the Alliance and start
talking about plans to move our country FORWARD and focus on the mad man
currently leading our country rather than trying to bring the Alliance down.
What every Gambian wants is more likely going to materialize from an
Alliance government than from APRC. I would have thought that that would be
obvious to all right-thinking Gambians. Buhary for what it is worth, let me
inform you that the leaders on the ground are quite cognizant of the fact
that there is still room for a fuller Alliance to come to fruition. If you
remember some few days ago SM Dibba helped propagate rumors that Dembo
Bojang wanted to join APRC. This is the most insulting thing one can say
about a staunch Opposition personality like Dembo. This angered a lot of
Dembo supporters and they wanted to lash out against Dibba at the Bakau and
Serrekunda rallies held by the Alliance. But at the end of the day, the
leadership qualities of Darboe and Dembo Bojang prevailed. Our leaders
refrained the supporters from disparaging Dibba. Needless to say, Darboe is
hearing all these questions being raised about his integrity and whether he
is an independent person. These questions are being raised by prominent
people in other Opposition Parties. However Darboe is NOT attacking them
back. Darboe is interested in the FUTURE and how to remove Yaya from office.
Darboe wants the help of every Gambian whether they belonged to PPP, NCP,
PDOIS, NRP, UDP, PDP, UP, .... Any Party. The Alliance leaders have their
eye on the ball. I, as a MERE supporter, will however say my piece if I
believe that supporters of other Parties are spreading LIES about the
Alliance.
