Hi!
I would like to congratulate and say a big thank you to Pa Samba Jow
and his team and the entire Gambian community in Washington D.C. for a
successful ALD. Highly commendable was their decision to bring Biri to
Washington to honour him. This act deserves to highlighted and emulated
by all Gambian communities the world over. They could have waited until
after Biri passes away to say nice words about him as with all Gambian
heroes. They decided to honour him whilst he is alive. I was not there
but I heard Biri was extremely touched to be so honoured. They also
brought Gambian superstar Pa Omar Jack and he definitely proved his
abilities. I would also like to take the opportunity to congratulate
others who were honoured there suc as Joe Sambou. I say bravo and a big
thank you again to all the D.C. Gambians. You have my utmost respect.
